Walker Evans was one of my first heroes. I devoured the Farm Security Administration photos. Evans direct style appealed to my young, no-nonsense mindset. Between undergraduate school and graduate school I drove across the country three times collecting photos along that way. Now, every time I drive anywhere I take a camera (or two). Here are some recent images along the road.
